Fall is upon us and the leaves are starting to turn and fall from the trees evidenced by the piles that are accumulating in my yard!  We have massive trees in our yard and every single leaf is eventually connected to our rake and the mulch pile. Along with the season, comes dropping temperatures.  Don’t you just love the cool, crisp weather—even in Texas we can wear sweaters!  We all savor it as much as we can, don’t we.  Lately, we have been getting quite a bit of rain, which we need desperately.  Lake Conroe is starting to rise and the other day one of my clients called to tell me that the boat is floating in the boat slip—a real accomplishment since large volumes of water  were let out of the dam during preventative maintenance after Hurricane Rita.  The water is rising and the once waterfront – then beach-front property is now recovering.  The homes in the Conroe/Lake Conroe area will keep their appeal after all. Let it rain some more!  And all over Lake Conroe!!  Have a great week!                    -- Linda Dayen

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone! What a wonderful time of year when we reflect back on all the blessings that God has given to us. I think of my family and friends including all my clients and colleagues that have made my life and business so meaningful and joyous. We love working with families like yours and thank you for making us a part of your extended family. I'm always here to help and to give you support when you need it. May your holiday be filled with warm smiles, good food and great health. Enjoy and hug your family and savor the cooler, sweater weather! May the Lord bless you for another year and may we always be truly thankful.

Good Smells and Warm Hearts

I love this time of year, don't you?  Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time for family and friends around a fire (when it's cold enough) with the yummy smells coming from mom or grandma's kitchen.  We enjoyed family who flew in and others that drove here and the warmth that was felt when we can catch up on each other's lives.  We can reflect on how the Lord has lead us this pass year and blessed us with safety, freedom and loved ones. Many of the homes that I sell have the open family concept to the kitchen and living room/den where all the festivities can be enjoyed by all especially during the holidays.  Here in Texas, the weather shines and the sun warmed all of our hearts and backyards as we spent time connecting with each other.  Enjoy this season-- take time to call a friend, take time off from your busy lives and work and remember the real priorities in life.
